Jennifer Vale

Registered Social Worker, MSW RSW

I am a Registered Social Worker with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals and couples through trauma, substance use, anxiety, relationship challenges, and significant life transitions. My work is grounded in creating a steady, respectful space where clients can explore difficult experiences, better understand recurring patterns, and move toward meaningful change.

I draw from an integrative, trauma-informed approach that includes EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), the Gottman Method, Ecotherapy, and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy. Each therapeutic process is tailored to the unique needs of the individual or partnership, with care taken to move at a pace that feels safe and manageable.

Ongoing learning, supervision, and personal reflection are essential parts of my practice. I engage in my own therapeutic supports to ensure I show up with clarity, accountability, and presence. Therapy requires courage, and I honour both the vulnerability and growth that come with this work.
